Onerror Advertising Policies
To My Readers:
Onerror is offered for free for readers to enjoy. But like most of us, I have to be responsible with my time and resources and that means I find ways to help provide for our family. I’m blessed with the opportunity to share my home, life and things I love on this blog, and connect with readers who are kindred spirits.
This blog has grown over the years to a significant size, and consequently there are many big expenses involved to keep it running smoothly, from costly web servers to fees for my email subscription services (which readers receive for free!) to blog coding help so I don’t blow up the internet, to other services, legalities and helps that are required to run a blog and save my sanity in keeping it going!
In order to offer the content free of charge so all readers can benefit and be a part of this wonderful community of home-lovers, I have found other ways to receive compensation. I’ve invested seven and a half years in creating this body of work and I am committed to continuing to invest a lot of my time and love into this space for years to come, without charging readers.
So to make this work, I partner with advertisers, ad networks and offer occasional links to products I recommend or feel readers will benefit from. Readers are not under any obligation to use or click on advertisers links, but when you do, you support me as I create this blog and you allow this community to continue! Even if your support is just enough to buy me a cup of coffee today, I appreciate your kindness and understanding!
I am committed to keeping this blog authentic and I do not accept any advertising that doesn’t make sense for my home, is not content I feel readers would benefit from, or is in conflict with the values I hold.
Here is how I am able to keep this blog running and what types of advertising this blog accepts.
Above the header, in the right side bar and at the bottom of posts you will see ads that are filled by Onerror’s ad networks. While I don’t have complete control over what ads appear, do let me know if you see something I should attempt to block. There are no guarantees I can remove ads but thank you for watching out for me, the readers and my site! I appreciate your support and want coming here to be a good experience.
Sponsors & Affiliates
I accept quality sponsors for ad space on Onerror. Ads will appear in the right sidebar and occasionally in the footer of an RSS feed. I only work with companies I feel would be relevant and of interest to my readers, so thank you for supporting these businesses and visiting their sites.
Occasionally I will be affiliate for for certain ebooks or products I feel I can personally endorse. I do receive a small fee for sales through affiliate links and links will be identified as such.
Onerror does occasionally host giveaways I feel would be of interest and value to readers, with priority given to active long term sponsors of Onerror (three months or more). There is usually an additional fee or product exchanged for the time and space involved in writing, hosting and promoting giveaways and all posts are identified as sponsored. Giveaways must be of $200 value or more to be considered.
Onerror NOT participate in any paid product reviews. I occasionally consider accepting complimentary and relevant products for my personal evaluation and review without any payment for the review. Generally no craft items or small home decor items are accepted. My house is too full and my time is too short to accept everything that is offered! However, I can consider furnishings, plumbing and appliances in exchange for payment and in consideration of the promotional value of my time and effort here on the blog. If you have something to offer you know I’d like, just email me to find out if I can accept it!
Please email me via my contact info in the side bar. There is no guarantee I will accept or review your item but if I do decide to publish a positive review you will receive a link in the post at no charge and there will be full disclosure of the free complimentary product. Please do send an invoice for tax records.
Onerror does NOT accept paid content embedded links or sponsored sidebar text links.

These companies may use non-personally identifiable information (e.g., click stream information, browser type, time and date, subject of advertisements clicked or scrolled over) during your visits to this and other Web sites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services likely to be of greater interest to you.
